When developing the response to fast-paced and high impact Crisis Events, it is likely that the Crisis Management Leadership Team will have experience of responding to, and managing, the full scope of Crisis Events that could potentially occur, and the time and space to plan and make decisions in a deliberate, consultative manner will not exist. To ensure the Course of Action selected by the Team is well-judged, an understanding of the wide range of factors that are commonly associated with Crisis Events – regardless of the specific nature of the incident triggering the crisis – is important.
