Description: A beautiful very fine or better banknote issued by the Clydesdale & North of Scotland Bank Limited of Glasgow Scotland. This is the 20th September 1961 five pounds currency note. This banknote is dark blue on multi-colored underprint. It depicts the image of the Scottish Arms at right on the front. The back is blue and depicts the image of King's College at Aberdeen. The front displays one signature in black, the denomination, the date, and the serial number with series. This particular note has the serial number 080238 and is series B/D.
