No. 803 / Omega Constellation Gold Cap - 1968
OmegaConstellation C-LineGold Cap Case / 1968 Intro This Omega Constellation Day-Date Chronometer C-Line from 1968 features a stunning original cross-hatch linen dial and a gold cap case. It is truly a beautiful piece that any watch collector can appreciate. Story Designed by Gerald Genta (YES! That's Gerald Genta of the AP Royal Oak fame), the C-Line Constellation was initially released in December 1964. The sunburst dial is quite something to see in person. What the C-Shape brings is an understated elegance almost forgotten in time. By modern standards, it is a dress watch, or at least it is certainly dressier than anything in the current Omega range except perhaps the Omega Constellation Manhattan (Which is quite ugly in my humble opinion).
