OmegaConstellation ChronometerCapped Gold / 1971 Intro This Omega Constellation from 1971 is one of the last C-Line models still in production. It features a beautiful gold vertically brushed dial and a classic brushed bezel. It also boasts a capped gold case (second only to a solid gold case). This is truly a beautiful piece that any watch collector can appreciate. Story Designed by Gerald Genta (YES! That's Gerald Genta of the AP Royal Oak fame), the C-Line Constellation was initially released in December 1964. The sunburst dial is quite something to see in person. What the C-Shape brings is an understated elegance almost forgotten in time. By modern standards, it is a dress watch, or at least it is certainly dressier than anything in the current Omega range except perhaps the Omega Constellation Manhattan (Which is quite ugly in my humble opinion).
