Hand Hammered Flask Funnel

A sterling silver hand hammered flask funnel.  This very rare and beautifully made piece is the perfect accessory for any gentleman, or lady, with a hip flask that needs filling cleanly without fuss.  It can also be used to fill a travel size bottle for cologne or perfume.  The entire piece is of a very thick gauge and has a repeat of a hand hammered finish over its entirety.  The piece is marked "Sterling" with an unusual cross makers mark, and unique product reference number. The cross makers mark is for J.F. Fradley & Co. of New York.   Joseph F. Fradley began the business of chaser in 1866. He opened a factory in 1870 entering in partnership with Samuel B. Burr (1871) and Francis P. Locklin (1872-1874). The business was incorporated in 1890 and continued by his son Geo. F. Fradley when he retired (1902).
