Drinking Flask with Removable Cup

A sterling silver travel drinking flask with large removable drinking cup.  This is a stunning piece, very simple in design, however, what makes this flask unusual is the large, thick gauge, removable drinking cup that slides off the main body of the flask itself.  This cup also doubles as an added layer of protection to the flask, to prevent any damage to the precious cargo. There is a slight curve to the back side of the piece in order to fit more comfortably in a breast pocket.  The drinking cup is hand engraved with a beautifully captured rearing lion, together with the Latin quote; 'Respice Finem'.  The meaning of this is quite wonderful to be emblazoned onto a drinking flask!  'Live so that your life will be approved after your death'.  This is also the family motto of the Fairbanks family.  The flask has full assay hallmarks on both the flask and cup and was made in London, England, in 1904 by prolific and highly regarded silversmith's William Hutton and Sons.  The lid is a clas
