George Nelson Platform Bench
Description This iconic bench is part of the Forsyth x St. Frank collab. Introducing a collection of timeless design icons restored by Forsyth with fabric designed by St. Frank. The Platform Bench is a landmark of modern design. The rectilinear lines of the surface reflect designer George Nelson's architectural background. Nelson's creative goal when designing the bench was a multi-use piece. He envisioned it as shelving, high and low storage cases, coffee tables, or seating. This one of a kind piece, with its lacquered frame and rectangular maple slat seat, is simply beautiful. We handcrafted two cushions from custom St. Frank Technicolor Frazada stripe fabric.
