A must-have for the native garden. Oakleaf hydrangea is easy to grow and great for natural areas. Panicles of white flowers burst open in late spring to early summer and last into the fall, as they age to shades of cream and pink. Dried flower heads can also be brought inside and used for decoration. As fall approaches, leaves turn shades of burgundy and crimson. Winter reveals beautiful exfoliating bark, making oakleaf hydrangea a true four-season plant for the landscape. Mature plants are 4-6' tall and wide. Oakleaf hydrangea prefers full sun in cooler climates and part shade in warmer areas. Hardy in zones 5-9.
