Christian Drouin Calvados 1958 A rare old vintage from one of Calvados' most prominent producers. Single distillation in a copper column still. Aged in Calvados casks. Amber robe. Rich and appetizing on the nose, with notes of caramelized apple and spice. Subtle, lightly wooded and elegant on the palate, with a long finish. The flavor phase, like that of the bouquet, is so longer on grace than potency, but delightful all the way. Paul Pacult.
