UNBLEACHED "CHOCOLATE" NATURAL + SUSTAINABLE BATH SEA SPONGES

These natural and sustainable bath sponges are unbleached, a gorgeous chocolatey hue, affordable, eco friendly, and so luxurious!  These sponges are cut (not whole) and sustainably harvested from the Caribbean, making them less expensive than our Premium Whole Unbleached Chocolate Sea Sponges from the Gulf of Mexico. They are slightly more expensive than our cheapest sponge option, but they are more durable and environmentally friendly. After being harvested from the ocean, sea sponges are traditionally bleached to a blonde or golden color for commercial reasons. However, the natural color of sponges is absolutely stunning ~ a beautiful array of tan and brown shades. Not only does bleaching alter the color of sponges, but it also impacts their quality since the sponge's delicate fibers and structure is weakened by the bleach.
