Walnut and Cedar Boombox style cutting board

This beautiful, handmade board is created using the stronger edges of the wood as opposed to the face grain. This board features 2 sides made up of 4 walnut and 2 cedar strips, and a middle made of 4 cedar and 3 walnut strips, that make up the whole board.  Each board is finished with 3 coats of clear butcher block FOOD SAFE wax after a coat of cutting board oil. This gives it a vibrant finish showing off the wood grain colors. The butcher block wax is free of toxins and synthetics and only contains ingredients the FDA says are safe for food-contact surfaces.  1.25”x7”x19” (1” thick strips) (Strips may vary slight per board, but never more than 1/8”. Sample pic is made with 1” strips) Handmade in my home workshop. A wonderful gift for housewarmings, weddings, anniversaries, and even holiday or birthday gifts!
