Walnut and Maple Cutting Board

This beautiful, handmade board is created using the stronger edges of the wood as opposed to the face grain. The large board features 6 walnut and 5 maple, the small features 4 walnut and 4 maple strips that make up a beautiful contrast in the board.   Each board is finished with 3 coats of clear butcher block FOOD SAFE wax after a coat of cutting board oil. This gives it a vibrant finish showing off the wood grain colors. The butcher block wax is free of toxins and synthetics and only contains ingredients the FDA says are safe for food-contact surfaces. All sizes are close and approximately correct, but may not be exact.  Large: 1.25”x10”x17” (just under 1” thick strips) Regular: 1.25”x6.5”x20.5” (3/4” strips) (Strips may vary slight per board, but never more than 1/8”.
