Overview The HZXLC series hazardous location exit sign and emergency light combo fixtures are designed to fulfill both lighting and exit sign needs into one efficient unit. Explosion proof fixtures are necessary for those spaces where flammable gases and vapors are present. Such hazardous materials can ignite if exposed to an electrical spark caused by the circuit boards of emergency fixtures. The HZXLC is designed to keep all of its elcectronics hermetically sealed to prevent such catastrophe.
