Ceramic House Necklace

A miniature take on the Ceramic Village House, this cute-as-a-button necklace is a little piece of Croatia that you can keep close to your heart. Pink flower designs complement a pink polka-dot roof. Necklaces are made by Janja Šestan Diklić at her home ceramics studio, Doda Keramika. After she sculpts and kiln-fires the ceramic forms, Janja hand-paints them with colorful details, bringing her tiny creations to life. From start to finish, she said the process can take weeks. House approx. 2 cm wide by 3 cm high; total necklace length approx. 45 cm. Handmade in Rijeka.
