The most fruit-forward of the three Burundi coffees we have the pleasure of presenting, the Gishubi Hill coffee is definitely one for the most discerning and detail-oriented manual brewer types. We have loved this coffee most when some kind of a filter medium is involved in the brew. Coffee from Burundi has a certain quality to it that is hard to describe. Everyone who drinks it really loves it. It's what you would wish all coffees had, a familiar and yet distinct "coffee" flavor. Approachable, yet wholly unique. Add the natural processing, we find some mango and plum coming through, followed by a nice black tea quality. Savory with a touch of sweetness, the coffee is an adventure across all temperatures.
