Acer shirasawanum 'Kawaii', Kawaii Full Moon Maple

Lacey leaves, finely and deeply dissected, emerge pink in spring then become orange-red with bright green petioles in summer and, finally, bright red and orange in fall. This 2' mounding, deciduous, dwarf tree is very slow growing so would work well in a pot or perhaps on a small mound. Kawaii means "cute", translated from Japanese...aptly named. Mature size: 1 ft T x 2 ft W in 10 years, 2 ft T at maturity    Minimum temperature: -20° F
