Acer shirasawanum 'Johin', Johin Full Moon Maple

'Johin' has a very long leaf with deeply divided, pointed lobes. In spring, striking green veins run through the deep red leaf; in summer the leaves are olive green; in fall, mainly yellow with red marking. The leaves layer closely, creating an elegant flowing form—the name 'Johin' means "elegant." It will grow slowly to a petite 6' tall x 4' wide, a nice size for the right container should you desire.
