Manahil's Daughters at Souq Omdurman- لوحة بنات مناهل في سوق امدرمان

Telling the story of Manahil's -the customer's- passion for Omdurman her hometown connecting her Galiya and Shanageet roots, the painting shows her , her husband ,five daughters & cat enjoy a trip to souq Omdurman at the 2nd day of Mawlid prophet Mohamed (may peace be upon him). Manahal and her husband are buying vegetables from a man displacing  them at a table and herbs displaced in simple sacks “شوالات خيش”.
