
Evocative 1960s Peter Passuntino Ink on Paper Drawing of Two Figures
I find this quite a strong and affecting drawing, one of a handful I've purchased by artist Peter Passuntino (b. Chicago, 1936) dating the 1960s. I find his drawings quite potent; ambiguous but highly charged, seeming to portray psychological states as well as interpersonal dynamics, including exertions of power and expressions of vulnerability--and feeling pretty archetypal as they do. Unsigned and undated, but I know from others in the group c. late 1960s. ink on paper.
