In today’s digital world the tools and skills to tell our stories are more accessible than ever. Our 3D Clay Characters Design + Stop-Motion Animation camp prepares students with the skills they will need to bring their own visions to life, in a fun and creative design environment. Whether campers are interested in Art, Stage/Character Design, Creative Storytelling or just curious about how Stop-Motion animation works - our camps are perfect for students to get real hands-on experience in the production process of a stop-motion animated film. Our project-based learning style splits the production process into two weeks. During week one campers begin by brainstorming their character and stage design, followed by the actual artmaking process to create their characters, set, accessories, and props for shooting. In week two campers will deep dive into their script and learn video shooting/editing techniques for stop motion in order to create their final film. On Friday, we will host a viewing party and award ceremony to showcase everyone's films. Instructors and assistants will get our campers ready for a fun, instructional, and impactful week. At Clay House Art- all of our camps empower students to become CREATORS rather than just CONSUMERS of media, art, and culture. Campers receive a Take-Home Cell Phone Tripod and a Take-Home model-toy display case by registering today.
