Tough, warm and weather resistant, our Alcan Quilted Jacket is ready for any adventure. The heavy-duty waxed-canvas shell is bolstered with ballistic nylon and insulated with PrimaLoft® Gold that keeps you warm, wet or dry. The exterior shell is made of heavy-duty cotton canvas that’s been thoroughly saturated with a special paraffin wax by England’s iconic British Millerain, a process used to treat fabric for water resistance since the early 1900s. While similar to our legendary oil finish Tin Cloth, this fabric is a slightly heavier and a bit more flexible. Quilted between this tough outer shell and the nylon lining is a layer of 60-gram PrimaLoft® Gold, the warmest and lightest synthetic insulation available.
