Alcan Double Front Pants
Whether you’re pulling stumps, laying a foundation or pushing through twisty corners, our Alcan Double Front Pants will handle it. They’re built with our signature dry finish Tin Cloth with reinforcements to provide extra protection where it’s needed most. Our dry finish Tin Cloth, proven on jobsites and in the field for decades, is an extremely abrasion-resistant cotton duck produced by England’s historic British Millerain. The tightly-woven 2-ply by 2-ply canvas is reinforced on the leg fronts with Cordura® 7-oz. ballistic nylon. Developed for WWII flak jackets, ballistic nylon is a 2x2 basket weave with exceptional abrasion resistance that provides added protection in case the bike goes down or when working in abusive conditions. We reinforced the seat with an extra layer of Tin Cloth, so long days in the saddle, sitting on rocks or stumps, or sliding down steep banks won’t phase them. The double-layered legs feature articulated knees for comfort while riding and ease of motion.
