For me, a beautiful part of making portrait photographs is the people I meet and collaborate with for the session.  This portrait was made in 2004 and today, 17 years later I can still remember the session and the conversations we had.  The picture triggers the memory for me, my hope for viewers is that you come away thinking and wondering. A different collaboration but still important. This hand-pulled polymer photogravure print is made with Charbonnel Noir RSR black and warm sepia inks, with a trace of Charbonnel sanguine ink on Rives BFK paper.  I decided on a chine collé with Awagami Kitakata.  and an edition of 10 numbered prints and 2 A/P prints.   Hand made by Ray Bidegain chine collé 6x 7.5 on an 11x15 sheet. Signed numbered and dated by the artist on the lower front.
