Beginning Quilting Class with Nora

Important note: Nora is highly allergic to peanuts. Please do not bring any peanut products to class. This five-week class is geared to beginners and those wishing to improve their piecing skills. In this class we will focus on the basic units that make up many of the traditional quilt blocks -- flying geese, half square triangles, quarter square triangles, four patches, and more. You will make 4 traditional blocks and will also have a "stretch" block to take home to practice your techniques at home if you wish. Sashing, cornerstones, borders, backing, making the quilt sandwich and straight-line quilting is also taught in this class.  Supply Lists for our classes can be downloaded here anytime.
