Beginning Quilt Making Class with Marnet

Instructor: Marnet Hazard Skill level: This is not a Learn-to-Sew or how to use your sewing machine class.  It is assumed you have a working knowledge of your sewing machine, i.e. how to thread the machine and wind the bobbin. Number of Sessions: This class is five sessions.  Valuable information and new techniques will be discussed in each session.  Maximum enrollment: 6If this class is full, you may add your name and email address here to be notified when a new class opens.  Learn the skills needed to create a 4 or 6 Block Sampler Quilt top – from start to finish - including rotary cutting, piecing techniques, piecing the blocks, adding sashing and borders, and creating and basting your quilt “sandwich” in preparation for quilting.  Marnet will demonstrate basic machine quilting techniques, using a walking foot to quilt straight or wavy lines.
