Pamphobeteus sp. 'Machala' (Machala purple bloom tarantula) 1"

Pamphobeteus sp. 'Machala' is a large undescribed terrestrial species originally collected around Machala, Ecuador. Like many Ecuadorian Pamphobeteus species, the slings have an orange-red abdomen with a black 'Christmas tree' pattern. This species is sexually dimorphic with mature females possessing a dark brown/black color throughout the whole body, while males are bright purple upon maturity.
