Aspen Grove (canvas wrap)

The original Aspen Grove was a collaborative piece Michele and I created. I did all the heavy lifting and painted the background (ha, ha) and she came in and put finishing touches on the piece with her aspen grove in the foothills. Aspen groves are one of the largest living organisms in the world. It is actually all just one plant that sends shoots through the ground that pop up as "new" trees. Their trunks have a sculptural quality to them and the changing  leaves is incredible to behold in each season, especially in the fall.  This is available with silver metal on the mountains peaks or painted snow on the mountain peaks.  Gold colored raised metal is applied on the horizon line.  This reproduction is available in two sizes. Aspen Grove is a one of a kind hand embellished reproduction using our raised  “Molten Metals” process. This added dimension makes it look like the original but at a fraction of the cost. The metal is then antiqued and varnish is applied to the entire surface.
