Matter and Energy - file for printing

These 6 language exercises help children solidify their knowledge of energy and matter, potential and kinetic energy, states of matter, changes in states of matter, energy we use, and heat transfer. For each of the six exercises, you will print two cards, one to cut apart from matching and one to leave whole for self-checking. For ages 6-9. Originally produced by In-Print for Children, it is now available only as a file for printing.  The set now includes a 17-page teacher's guide with background information, lesson suggestions, learning activities for children, and a list of books that children can use to deepen and extend their knowledge.  To print this set, you need 12 sheets of letter-sized card stock. Choose "Fit to size" on your printer menu. If you would like larger cards, you can take the files to a commercial printer and have them printed full size - 9.25 x 12.5 inches (23.4 x 32 cm) - on ledger-size or A3 cardstock. Optional: you may print the second copy (for self-checking)
