Classification of Matter Chart
After children become familiar with elements and compounds, they are ready to classify matter. Sixteen picture cards represent two main categories of matter, pure substances and mixtures, in four groups: chemical elements, compounds, homogeneous mixtures, and heterogeneous mixtures. The child places picture cards on the plastic chart (18" x 32"), using the information on the back of the card as the control. The picture cards can also be sorted under six label cards (2-1/8” x 4½”) that duplicate the text on the chart. Background information and lesson suggestions are included for the teacher. Cards (3½” x 3¼”) are in full color and laminated. Price includes U.S. shipping cost by standard mail or media mail. Contact us for faster shipment options.
