A heavy ceramic Victorian food mold with a cluster of grapes on the inside to make a gelatin or aspic dish. The mold has a high unglazed foot and a glazed base. The mouth is also not glazed. There are artful ridges on the sides. MEASUREMENTS 7 ½” (19.0 cm) long x 6 ¼” (15.9 cm) deep x 3 5/8” (9.2 cm) tall. Weighs 2 lbs 0.7 oz (920 g) CONDITION There are two rim chips, one of which has a small hairline. There is wear from much use over the years. There are kiln flaws, such as reserve lines, bumps, and dark spots. A collectible Victorian food mold to add to a display in the kitchen.
