NEW PEARLS OF WISDOM EARRINGS

These abstract statement earrings represent the pearls of wisdom that only time can teach. Time appears visually: the past through the shard, the present through the rice, and the future through the triangle.  Inspired by the rice that is integral to the people and land in Laos, these earrings include three elements that tell a story of transformation. The pearl represents sticky rice that is farmed from both clear and contaminated lands. The Peacebomb Aluminum bomb shard is a copy of iron shrapnel removed from the ground by deminers and recast back into war scrap.
