NEW PEARLS OF WISDOM HOOPS

Inspired by the rice that is integral to the people and land in Laos, these earrings include two elements that tell the story of ARTICLE22's virtuous circle of transformation. The pearl represents sticky rice that is farmed from both clear and contaminated lands. The Peacebomb Aluminum hoop is made from reclaimed material recast into the new form of a circle that represents how our jewelry contributes to a greater cause of a clean environment.  How do we get the gold tone?  Merging traditional techniques from Laos with the modern process of anodizing in the US, an electrochemical process converts the metal surface into a decorative, durable, corrosion-resistant, wear-resistant oxide layer made of metal and not pigment. It cannot chip or peel. Gold anodizing is  extremely UV resistant and will remain sparkling for a long time. COLOR/PATINA MAY VARY DUE TO THE HAND MADE NATURE OF THE PIECE.
