RARE SIGNED 1952 RECEIPT FROM FREDERICK WILDMAN & SONS - $15K APR W/ COA! ITEM DESCRIPTION:    This piece from 1952 and framed in 1984 (receipt: 10" x 8" inches; frame: 14" x 12.5" inches) comes from the ‘Sherry Lehmann’ archives. Found on the chairman's wall, when we bought the contents of the store! What we have here is an original type-out receipt from the ‘Frederick Wildman and Sons Importers and Wine Merchants.’ They were one of the leading importers, distributors, and wholesalers of fine wines in the world in the 1950s with accounts dating back to the 1930s. This receipt is dated “June 18th, 1952,” and it was made out to the Sherry Wine and Spirits C., Inc. 679 Madison Avenue, New York, NY.” What's unusual about this is that it has eight different types of wines and champagnes that they were delivering to the Sherry Lehman Company. This receipt is almost 80 years old, but it's professionally framed for the reason that on the back here, it was personally addressed to Sam
