MY LITTLE LYRE The children's My Little Lyre, model LBP, is a stringed instrument with a wooden open resonating body. This children's lyre allows particularly young children and beginner adults to practice free, basic music which is not bound to a base tone. This is a basic pentatonic lyre for introduction of music to the child. This particular lyre is recommended for use with very young children at home, in preschool and kindergarten, with musical games, storytelling and much more. This model is particularly good for unborn and newborn babies to hear as well as it is tuned higher and young babies hear at a higher frequency (which is why humans instinctively raise their voice pitch when speaking to newborns and infants).
