DIATONIC CHILDREN'S LYRE Auris Diatonic Children's 12 String Lyre is a specially constructed solid maple wood lyre with the characteristic notch in the bottom, which gives it an especially balanced tone. Two bridges made out of hard wood and brass ensure a harmonic progression between the high and the low strings. BEST AGES FOR DIATONIC CHILDREN'S LYRE Diatonic Lyres are best for older children starting around age 9 if your child will be playing this Lyre as an instrument for school, music class, music lessons or orchestra.
