Endless Summer Silk Screen Photograph Print

The endless Summer by the contemporary artist Marc Vandermeer ( American, 1950's) is inspired by a photograph of people silhouetted against a setting sun in 2020 at Lido beach, Sarasota, Florida. the art work is made into a three -color photo silkscreen. The viscosity of silkscreen ink gives it much more power than that of an inkjet or laser-printed image. About the artist:Art has been a part of Marc's DNA since birth. His mother, a New York-based artist, sculptor, and teacher, continually exposed him to the world of galleries and museums, between their home in SoHo and summers spent in Provincetown, MA. He began practicing early, attending high schools specializing in art and summer workshops in Provincetown, and studying art history in Florence, Italy.
