Original Pre Civil War and rare version Ames M1833 Dragoon Sword with 1837 production date. Has a beautiful aged brass on the handle. The srap is worn down to the wood from service and so makes the handle loose. The blade is full length and mostly has a dark patina with heavy pitting in places. Does have the Ames cursive writing Maker Mark. A great affordable sword that will make a great addition to any war room collection Please see all photos.
