Original Civil War Ames M1860 Cavalry Sword with 1864 Date. Has a really nice overall displaying patina. The original leather and wire are intact and in great condition. The brass undisturbed pommel and guard have a matching brass patina. The blade is full length with a nice point. Has the Ames maker mark on one side and US/Inspector Initials/1864 on the reverse.
