Small Egg Basket #1794

This is Small Egg Basket #1794 which was handmade here at 1840 Farm on March 2, 2022.  This pretty basket features a collection of colorful fabrics including solids and patterns in shades of orange, green, yellow, and blue. It is stitched together with peach blossom colored thread. The finished size of this basket is approximately 3.75 inches high and has a top diameter of 8 inches.  Our small egg basket is sized to safely transport six to eight large eggs fresh from your coop. It's also the perfect way to add a bit of color and texture to a table, desk, or shelf. Our coiled fabric egg baskets feature two handles.  Because the baskets are lightweight and flexible, the two handles can be used to hold the basket with one hand.  This makes them perfect for collecting fresh eggs from the coop or produce from your garden.  We use these baskets to collect the eggs laid by our flock of heritage breed hens and ducks every day.
