Kaea-ma-see Bison are majestic creatures that have long been a symbol of strength and resilience in Native American culture. Carved out of petosky stone, this carving captures the essence of these powerful animals in a unique and exquisite way.  Buffalo (Si:wolo) is especially important to the Plains Indians. These magnificent animals were the basis of their lifeway before they were hunted to extinction by the white man.
