
Antique Black Transferware Salad Plate 7 1/2" JEDDO by W. Adams & Sons
Product Description: An old English Ironstone-Earthenware Salad Plate in the Jeddo pattern by William Adams & Sons. From the early to mid-1800s, this round salad plate with a slightly contoured 14-sided rim depicts a black transfer scene of an urn featured on steps surrounded by floral with Asian motifs in the background. Four cartouches encircles the edge with a repeated pattern of an urn, floral and foliage. Measuring 7 ½” in diameter, it shows its age which is discussed under "Condition". A nice piece if you enjoy the aged appearance for kitchen decorating, and its a nice size to display if your short on space. On the back it bears the printed Belt Mark with Eagle, W.
