
Don't Judge A Book By It's Cover
This right here is the absolute perfect reminder for all of us here who absolutely love books. Let me explain.Lately I have read some phenomenal sci-fi books that kept me turning the page til the very last word - they were excellent! But here's where it gets interesting: Had friends of mine not recommended these books, I likely never would have picked them up at this little used book store I absolutely love. Many times, the books were worn in, or the art cover gave me this preconceived notion that it likely wouldn't be my style. But then I'd pick them up, begin to read and just get sucked into the story that was being told. It turns out, the books were well-worn because they had been read so many times. And the cover art? It made a lot more sense once I began to understand the world in which the author was sharing - in fact I actually appreciated it so much more once I knew where it came from. People are very similar - everyone has an amazing story to tell. But how many times do we f
