Story:Christmas is, without a doubt, my favorite time of year. When I was younger I discovered my love for gifting - I'd save up money for months in advance in order to surprise everyone in my family with something they never expected. The feeling of seeing that look of surprise on their faces is something that, if I'm honest, has probably helped me a lot in my role here at ZOX. With every piece we create, I try to envision someone opening it for the first time - does it make them smile? Is it meaningful enough to be worth making in the first place? Last year, our theme for the calendar was the 12 days of Christmas. It was a ton of fun, but like all things, we found room to improve. We took all the input from that release and made this year's calendar substantially better. The items are all more wearable and the experience is unlike anything we've ever done before. There are 12 doors to open on this year's Advent Calendar. We're planning to open them up starting December 1st and ending on the 12th. However, if you get your calendar later or would prefer to wait, you are welcome to do that as well. On December 13th, we'll begin the experience side for this year's calendar. We have something really fun planned for all 2020 Advent Calendar owners that will begin on the 13th and end on Christmas Eve. All this leads me back to where I started. Part of my excitement for this Advent Calendar is that in a strange way, it feels like a bunch of little presents I've prepared just for you. Can't wait to hear what you think.
