Our Vérité Closed LTD features Redheart cups with a Ruby BBB, black rods, and black aluminum chassis.  Fresh-cut Redheart can glow like watermelon candy, and under black-light it even fluoresces—a party trick few headphone woods can match. With a medium density (≈ 40 lb/ft³) and a Janka hardness around 1,210 lbf, it strikes a Goldilocks balance for closed cups: solid enough have a fast attack, yet light enough to preserve a touch of natural reverb that gives the Vérité Closed its spacious, not-so-closed presentation. Over time the color mellows to a deeper ruby, especially if you let sunlight kiss it (a UV-blocking finish slows the shift).
