Between 1935 and 1943, the WPA’s Federal Art Project produced over two million posters in 35,000 different designs to appeal to the public’s inclination for education, theater, health, safety, and travel. Due to the fragile nature of paper, only two thousand posters have survived to this day—less than one-tenth of one percent! Ranger Doug’s Enterprises recreated faithful reproductions of WPA National Park serigraphs. Produced between 1938 and 1941, there were originally sixteen stunning historical National Park posters (fourteen were printed in Berkeley, CA, plus two “See America” designs printed in New York in 1935). The original WPA National Park posters were painstakingly restored, one screen at a time, as original-size silkscreen prints (approximately 13 x 19 inches). Now, for the first time, large giclée prints of the WPA National Park—Poster of Posters—have been created with even more clarity and detail in 18 x 24 in. and 24 x 32-inch sizes on heavy, archival quality 250gsm fine
