GRAY SHIMS ~ 1 DEGREE CORRECTION BLACK SHIMS ~ 1.5 DEGREES CORRECTION RECOMMEND BLACK SHIMS FOR X PLAIDS OR WITH MODEL S AND LOWERING LINKS SET TO -8 OR MORE BLACK SHIMS INCLUDE LONGER BOLTS, GRAY SHIMS RETAIN USE OF THE FACTORY BOLTS An affordable way to fix that premature inside tire wear on the Model S or X.   These shims are an affordable way to reduce the negative camber that plagues our vehicles from the factory.  If you are using factory low height settings the thinner shims should suffice.  If you are using lowering links to lower the vehicle more than the factory low setting then the thicker shims will be better.
