Designed using the same fabric and technologies found in the Cold Skin Baselayer, the new Cold Skin Leggings are three times cooler than a standard competitor product, enhancing comfort and enjoyment whether you’re commuting, racing, or adventuring during the hottest months of the year. The fabric used to manufacture the Cold Skin Leggings underwent Q-max testing at the Kaken Test Centre in Japan, which analyzes the coolness of the material's surface. A higher Q-max value indicates a cooler fabric. Currently, if the Q-max value of a product is 0.1 W/cm² or more, it is recognized as having ‘cool contact performance’. The Cold Skin Leggings recorded a value of 0.298 W/cm², whereas a standard competitor product typically scores below 0.1 W/cm², according to Japanese Industrial Standards.
