While the design is very simple, legit Hydras are immediately distinguishable from the many other stacked bead designs that have followed since their initial release. The 2018 Hydra AL Sports continue the tradition with the same bead size and configurable mule-bead design, but updated with a fresh colour range and a 3.5mm "Goldilocks" bore, suitable for both 275 and 550 paracord. Aroundsquare's Hydra Begleri are a fun yet highly adept modern adaptation of the traditional Greek multi-bead begleri. All of the Hydra sets have multiple interchangeable beads, allowing for interesting colour combinations, and some customization of weight.The Hydra AL Sports are precision machined from high grade aluminum, and anodized in brilliant colours.
