The Concept and Evolution When Atmos x CLYW launched the Canopy, they knew its form would be a blend of Atmos Project’s Polaris and CLYW’s Otter. Early on, the team imagined experimenting with different materials, and titanium was at the top of that list. Developing the Canopy Ti meant more than just resizing—it required an entirely new approach to honor the Canopy’s signature feel in this unique material.  Originally designed with polycarbonate caps for a customizable weight, the first Canopy Ti prototype was interesting but missed the mark, feeling heavy and a little unwieldy. It showed promise, but Atmos x CLYW wanted something more universally enjoyable, so they went back to the drawing board.
