When these fail the ECU will be damaged. In order for the warranty to be valid, you need to make sure the vehicle's coils have been replaced with Motorcraft DG514 and the spark plugs have been replaced with Motorcraft SP433 before the ECM is installed. If these units have not been replaced prior to the ECM being installed, we will not be able to warranty this item in the event the injector/coils are damaged in the ECU.
